Troll Astro Bouldering Pad is Troll’s premium, all round bouldering pad developed and manufactured in Yorkshire.

The new Troll Astro Bouldering Pad is developed, manufactured and tested in Yorkshire. It is a lightweight, versatile all rounder designed to form the foundation of your pad set up.

The Astro features two layers of open cell foam, with a layer of closed cell foam sandwiched between. This provides a solid, stable platform for landings. Troll sourced high quality foam from the UK that gives great durability and resistance to compression over time.

The Astro has a traditional rucksack carry system and 3 large grab handles for easy transport. Its’ large rear flap system covers the rucksack straps when the pad is on the ground. This helps keep moisture and dirt off the user’s back at the end of a session. The flap also enables additional mats to be carried during the walk in. Multiple smaller mats or another full size mat can be carried within the flap. A chunky steel camming buckle keeps everything secure.

We use super durable UK sourced 1000d ballistic nylon fabric for the main body of the pad. The sublimated abstract print adds some space vibes and gives the Astro its interstellar themed name.
